Today the new version 2.12.3 of EasyMail newsletter plugin is downloadable on WP.org.

This is a maintenance release that has some improvements:

• adds labels for radio buttons in form for registered users (#topic)
• adds recipients info in newsletter report (#topic)
• adds css classes in subscriber table (#topic)
• adds best sample of unsubscribe link in theme preview (#topic)
• adds a filter ‘alo_easymail_enable_re_permission’ to allow disabling re-permission campaigns

This is a maintenance release that has some improvements:

• the newsletter report is loaded as a page, not as a modal: better integration and readability
• the optional tracking pixel is loaded from a REST url, not from the php file inside plugin: it’s better, but now the plugin requires WordPress 4.4+
• to include plugin files ABSPATH is used instead of relative path
• the modal of recipient list now is hidden on page load to avoid that it appears for some seconds when opening newsletter screen
• a php warning has been removed

Today the new version 2.10.0 of EasyMail newsletter plugin is downloadable on WP.org.

It includes some implementations to be ready for incoming GDPR:

• the privacy policy text inside subscription form now has a checkbox that must be checked to send data
• there is a draft of suggesting text for the site privacy policy (the new tool available in dashboard in Settings > Privacy)
• for privacy reason now the unsubscribed emails are stored always as MD5 string, it’s not possible to export them from dashboard
• the plugin adds own newsletter data to the new Personal data Export/Eraser

Then, there are some fixes for a better integration with WPML (thanks to dgwatkins).

It includes:

• two texts in subscription page now are customisable in option page: the “click to unsubscribe” and “subscription deleted” messages
• a filter for recipient number in newsletter report
• add a couple of sample functions in attachment mu-plugins
• move the “preview in newsletter theme” button inside theme metabox
• fix some warnings
