Today the new version 2.10.0 of EasyMail newsletter plugin is downloadable on WP.org.
It includes some implementations to be ready for incoming GDPR:
- the privacy policy text inside subscription form now has a checkbox that must be checked to send data
- there is a draft of suggesting text for the site privacy policy (the new tool available in dashboard in Settings > Privacy)
- for privacy reason now the unsubscribed emails are stored always as MD5 string, it’s not possible to export them from dashboard
- the plugin adds own newsletter data to the new Personal data Export/Eraser
Then, there are some fixes for a better integration with WPML (thanks to dgwatkins).
You can read guide, faqs… (see links in right sidebar). There is also the support forum hosted on WP.org.
And you can contribute to keep the plugin update donating some money to me.
Hi
Are the data stores that hold the names of the subscribers held on the same server that hosts the website.
Also can your tool accommodate several different mailing lists and manage them separately.
Thanks
Hi, the subscriber data is stored in database, usually on the same server of website, but it can depend on your hosting setup.
About mailing lists, you can manage them in plugin options and then send newsletters to specific lists.
