Alo,

When a user gets a newsletter and in the bottom there is the line to Unsubscribe when I click on that I get a page with: "To modify your subscription to mailing lists use this form"
I can click on the "Edit" button but I only get: "Your subscription to mailing lists successfully updated" There is no form where I can change things (?)

The Unsubscribe button works correct.

Also another question. I don't use the Alo Easymail Widget but I made a page with the code: [ ALO-EASYMAIL-PAGE ] In the Database I change the (automatic) Newsletter Subscription page (ALO_em_subsc_page) and set the "option value" to the value of the page I made. Then the page I made is no longer visible in the menu.

Another question...

when I try to import a CSV file I get an error "Not valid CSV file uploaded."

The content of the CSV file is:

number1@mydomain.com;number1
number2@mydomain.com;number2
number3@mydomain.com;number3 Arthur

Something wrong with this content?

Hi gunu, I try to give you the answers.

About the "To modify your subscription to mailing lists use this form" text and the missing form, you haven't lists available for subscribers, isn't it? (In this case, it's better that the plugin don't show the text and a button without form... I'll fix in next release).

About the disappeared page, go to Setting > newsletter. In the tab General you can find an option to set up the page visibility.

About the error on csv import: which browser do you use? It's the first release of this feature and I need feedbacks to improve it. I tried with Firefox and it works. I tried with Chrome and it didn't work... Let me know.

Oke, I understand about the lists available, then I see the form. Yes it is better to hide when there ar no lists.

The disappeeared page is visible when I change the Settings, thanks.

CSV import not working on IE7 - IE8 - Firefox 3.6.6 and Safari (for Windows)3.1.2

Ok, thanks for your feedback, I'll try to fix import for all browsers and operative systems... (I'm working on Linux/Ubuntu).

Changed here to Linux/Ubuntu (Firefox) and I got something different:

"Successfully import: 0 records out of 5 total
Some records have not been imported:

The e-mail address is not correct

Changed, under Linux, the CSV file with OpenOffice that makes this:

"number1@mydomain.com";"number1"
"number2@mydomain.com";"number2"
"number3@mydomain.com";"number3"

Now in Firefox (Linux) it worked....

On Windows IE7 - no
IE8 - no
Firefox - no
Safari - no

Ooops ! Same pb when I try to import my email list to one of my newsletter.
Tried on Firefox 3.6.10 & Safari 5.0.2
I am blocked.

What should be the MySQL request for importing a subscriber to a newsletter ?
I don't have Ubuntu..."just" a Mac.

I have tried with ISO-8859-1 Latin with LF, CR and CRLF,
then UTF-8, UTF16 Big endian, UTF18 Little Endian with LF...
All have failed (with Safari)

I did a file type check and found the file created by windows is 'text/tsv' so adding $_FILES['uploaded_csv']['type'] == "text/tsv" to line 268 in the file alo-easymail_subscribers.php solves the problem
