   On a fresh install of WP3.0, I copied the files into the plugin directory, activated the plugin and added the widget. I can go to the settings for the newsletter (Settings > Newsletter) which is displayed correctly, but if I go to 'Tools > Send Newsletter' or 'Users > Newsletter Subscribers' all I get is a blank page. I still get the menu down the side (Posts, Media etc) but nothing else.

   I have tried de-activating, re-activating, completely removing and re-installing but it always has the same outcome.

   I can see the tables in MySQL: easymail_sendings, easymail_subscribers and easymail_trackings and I can see the user being added to the subscribers table when I add them through the widget, but still all I get are blank pages.

   Any idea what I can try? Permissions?

   Hi Mark. First of all check these 2 issues:

   • the plugin files must be inside this directory: {your-blog-root}/wp-content/plugins/alo-easymail;
   • the file permissions: at least 755.

   And after each plugin update or install, of course de-activate and re-activate it, you did it.

   Yes the files are in the correct dir. I made sure all the plugins file permissions were 755, de-activated and re-activated but still the same problem.

   What else can I look at?

   Try to download again the plugin form WP.org and reinstall it.
   Then, if you can use Settings → Newsletter, check the option "delete all plugin data on deactivation" and try to deactivate and activate again (you will loose all plugin data but yours is a fresh installation so no problem).
   Otherwise, maybe there could be some conflicts with other plugins.
   About permissions: other WP files have permissions to 755 too? or maybe 777?

   Still no joy. The md5sum of the zip file I get is 7d3b6a8aab49f724a3958e52e3e5efb3 is that correct?

   I only have 1 other plugin and I've tried it with that removed but still not working.

   I am currently running WP locally - now I have everything else working I will try and upload to my host and see if it's just a problem with my local settings.

   Yay - works perfectly online! Must be due do my apache settings or something?!

   So glad I got this plugin working - it's exactly what I'm looking for :)

   I've the same problem.
   I've set up chmod 777 to the plugin directory, and checked everything.
   The page stays blank for subscribers and send newsletter.
   I can't (and won't) desactivate all plugins as I'm using them for a while...
   For informations, the problem doesn't comes from the theme, as I've same issues with standard theme.
   I'm on wordpress 3.01

   I'd like to go on WP.org and tell that it works.... if it really works !

   (the lack of translation in franch is not a problem. If the plugin works, I can complete the translation...)
