After a hard work… here you are the new version of EasyMail, my newsletter plugin for WordPress. You can download it from WordPress.org.

Now I’m working on the online documentation about the new version. However read the online guide, the FAQ and the forum for more info. Before posting new topic in the forum please read all the available documentation and the previous topics. Thank you.

Per la serie Non c’è limite al peggio, vi propongo un intervento di Marco Travaglio che spiega bene le nefandezze cricco-piduiste che stanno emergendo in questi giorni. Ricordo, a chi non lo sapesse, che Travaglio non parla di vicende accadute in qualche atollo sperduto nell’oceano o di fatti avvenuti in una tribù barbara nei bui anni medioevali. Sembrerebbe. Invece tutto ciò accade oggi, in Italia.

• mailing lists
• subscription choice on registration form
• tracking system when subscribers open newsletter
• subscribers importation from existing members or from a csv file
• use capabilities and not user_level, so better permission managing

MINOR CHANGES

• Added: an option to show subscription page
• Added: dashboard widget and favorite menu link
• Updated: a better formatting in admin side
• Fixed: now admin can modify subscription on user profile page
• Fixed: now easymail page and its option are properly deleted on deactivation
• Fixed: encode entities in newsletter header and subject
• Fixed: removed a lot of php warnings and wp notice

I found a bug (thanks to thorwik): the admin cannot edit the users subscription in other users profile page.
Then, I’m working on the new release and I’ve added the easymail opt in registration form.
Now here you are a quick hack to fix the 1st bug and to add this new feature: go to the forum post for the code.
This hack is to v.1.7. The v.1.8 and later do not need it.
